Lakeside Golf Course has earned an official “PGA Family Course” designation. Only six other courses in the State of Oklahoma have received this honor and Lakeside is one of two public courses getting to use this prestigious designation.

First off I want to say Thank You for having a strong desire to make Lakeside Golf Course more family friendly. In the last few weeks I have noticed a more positive attitude bye all of the staff, your goals are already heading in the right direction. Stillwater has been in need of more junior golf programs for some time. Jaydon came home last night and said it was more fun than he thought, and was ready to come back Thursday.

Dear Michael,

It looks like Stillwater got them an excellent golf professional. Lakeside has a storied history. I have great memories of my time playing on the OSU golf team when our home course was Lakeside and the golf coach was Labron Harris.

Coach Harris would be proud of the changes that have been made to the clubhouse and course. He would also be happy that you are the new Director of Golf.
